Robert Roche
International Entrepreneur

Robert Roche is an international entrepreneur, civic leader, and philanthropist. He has launched, managed, and invested in successful businesses across the U.S. and Asia in a variety of sectors. He founded and is Executive Chairman of Oak Lawn Marketing, a multi-channel direct marketing company in Japan. He developed a top-rated golf course and residential community in Utah, and through Gallup Land Partners, LLC, is developing a carbon-neutral manufacturing complex with an inland port, free trade zone, and residential housing in Gallup, New Mexico.

In addition to his successful business ventures, Roche is an engaged civic leader with a strong record of public service and international engagement. He has represented both the U.S. and Japan in various capacities and contributed as a donor, advisor, and board member to numerous organizations. Roche currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Quad Investors Network (QUIN), a non-profit that facilitates investments, joint ventures, and licensing in critical and emerging technologies across the Indo-Pacific. He also serves on the Board of the Center for New American Security (CNAS), a U.S. national security and foreign policy think tank, and is the co-founder of the Business Forward Foundation. He is the Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and is a member of the Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) as well as the Trilateral Commission—a global forum of senior policymakers, business leaders, and representatives of media and academe focused on addressing major global challenges. In 2010, President Obama named him to the U.S. Trade Representative’s Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, a committee he served on until 2014.

Roche is also a passionate philanthropist who is involved extensively in non-profit organizations focused on enhancing education, improving international relations, and building strong, sustainable communities. Endowments from Roche established a Chair for Interreligious Research at Nanzan University in Japan, and a Master of Laws in International Business Transactions at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.

Roche received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Japanese studies at Illinois State University and earned his J.D. at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Roche is married with three children and spends time in Japan and the United States. He is fluent in Japanese and proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Jacob J. Bracken
Chief Executive Officer
Gallup Land Partners, LLC

Jacob Bracken is the Chief Executive Officer of HG Management, LLC, which manages 45 entities, primarily is the southwest United States. These diverse businesses notably include Gallup Land Partners, LLC, the owner and developer of 25,000 acres in Gallup, New Mexico; the Sand Hollow Resort project in Hurricane, Utah; Red Mesa Science & Refining, LLC, a leading manufacturer of hemp-derived products; and Green River Companies, LLC, the owner and operator of a 5,000-acre farm in Green River, Utah.

Bracken was appointed Chief Financial Officer for the initial development of the Sand Hollow Resort project in 2006, which initially consisted of over 1,000-acres in Hurricane, Utah. He led the development of multiple businesses, including a nationally ranked golf course; 35,000 square feet of event space; and the expansion of resort and hospitality operations that now welcome more than 300,000 guests annually.

Bracken’s role expanded over the years, and he now leads the management of real estate assets of more than $500M across five states, including Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, and Arizona. Under his leadership, Gallup Land Partners is developing its 25,000 acres, which currently includes Gallup Energy Logistics Park, a 2,500-acre rail-served industrial park with a 365-acre parcel certified by BNSF. Additionally, a carbon-neutral manufacturing complex with an inland port, a Foreign Trade Zone, and residential housing is in development.

In the communities where he does business, Bracken has collaborated with federal, state, and local governments, as well as local economic development organizations to build strong partnerships that have helped create more than 200 jobs.

Bracken earned a master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Utah. He resides in Hurricane, Utah.

Martin O’Malley, General Manager

Marty joined Gallup Land Partners as a consultant in 2016 during the assumption of the Gallup 9th Street Flea Market and then joined the company as a full-time employee in 2017. He is responsible for the overall management of Gallup Land Partners holdings. Prior to joining Gallup Land Partners, he held director-level positions with national corporations, including Catapult Learning LLC, as well as with the State government, serving as a division director with the Arizona Superior Court.

A 30-year resident of Gallup and the surrounding area, Marty maintains a strong commitment to creating opportunity in McKinley County. He earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and has had extensive training in organizational management and human services.
