Ron and Marion ThomasonKnife Making and Leatherwork

Ron Thomason makes Damascus steel, plain and railroad spike knives with handles made of wood, resin and deer antler. Marion Thomason makes the gorgeous custom leather sheaths. Marion started making sheaths for her father and Ron began making knives after retirement. Customers most enjoy the railroad spike Knives because of their connection to Gallup as a railroading town.

Ron and Marion have been crafting and selling at the flea market every weekend since 2017. Ron's favorite thing about the flea market is the opportunity to meet and greet locals. Their family (two kids and two grandkids) most enjoys the flea market for the antiques and great deals.
